The character in Heaven Is For Real that I am going to examine is Colton. When he was four years old, he had his appendix burst. Therefore, he had to go to the hospital and have surgeries to fix it. While at the hospital he had gone to Heaven and back. He had shared the stories of Heaven with his father and mother a while after the surgery. Then, his parents took the information and turned it into a book.
If I was Colton, I would have done the same thing. He waited awhile to finally tell about his time in Heaven, he waited until the heated moments cooled down. He expressed his times when something that was related happened. For example, Todd and Sonja (Colton's mother and father) were talking about Todd"s grandfather, otherwise known as Pop. Colton said that he knows Pop, and that he stayed with him in heaven. Sooner or later, Todd showed Colton a picture of Pop a couple days before he died and when he was younger. Colton hadn't recognized Pop as an older gentleman.
In conclusion, yes. I would follow in Cotlon's footsteps on this one.
